Huang Hua will always be a true hero to me. I feel I have lost a personal friend. He taught me a great deal. May he rest in peace. And may his wife and family be comforted in knowing he lived a good life and contributed so very much to world peace and the "friendship" between people around the world. His legacy lives on in the China Society for People's Friendship Studies.

      I join the Chinese people in mourning his passing. The Chinese people have lost a giant of a man, who contributed in so many ways to China's development and positive standing in the world. And you have lost a very close friend. You served Huang Hua with great honor.
